About  Tanya:

Tanya joined HRI Talent in early 2008, but her story and career started much earlier. Hails from Cambridge, England. Having a well-known and prominent musician as a father, she grew up around many famed and celebrated artists. Her father’s work with Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Shirley Bassey, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, etc. inspired Tanya to pursue music. The power packed combination of her ability to play many different instruments, hands on music industry knowledge, and college degree in music, earned her a position as a sound engineer. Tanya worked in many British studios with amazing artists and legends including Led Zeppelin, Tina Turner, and The Who.

She's been at DDO for over 20 years, and started her agenting career at Sutton, Barth, and Vennari where she worked for 10 years and learned her craft.

With 30+ years of experience, she has seen many young actors rise to stardom who started out as commercial actors!

She represents "Captain Obvious" who is currently the spokesman for "Hotels.Com".

We will explore avenues for indie creators to launch content through the pitching process. Creative exec/producer Marlene Sharp will elaborate on essential tools, such as pitch decks/look books, scripts, treatments, and SWAG. She will cover communication techniques, and answer questions about various paths to a Hollywood studio greenlight. The icing on this original content cake will be a chance for attendees to pitch live to those assembled, and hear feedback on concept, style, and presentation.

About  Marlene:

Marlene recently served as Director, Production at LEVEL-5 abby, home of YO-KAI WATCH and other hit video game-based franchises. Formerly, as Producer, TV Series, at Sega of America, Marlene worked on much more than the Teen Choice Award-nominated cartoon SONIC BOOM.As a short film auteur, she has snagged prizes at the Canine Film Festival, the San Luis Obispo Film Festival, and many more. As a screenwriter, her professional stamp is embedded in lots of merchandise-driven cartoons - such as SNACK WORLD - and in her original, award-winning creations, such as BORN IN LA, MASCOT MAYHEM, and THE GIRL WHO LOVED NOSES.
